Mind over matter? or Hand over matter?

I used to have fake nails. I loved my fake nails. I loved to tap them on the desk, the table, the counter and it drove my whole family crazy. My rings looked much nicer with the fake nails. My chubby fingers looked longer and yearned to be in a television commercial advertising perfume spraying. The guy who applied them said you will need to come in every three to four weeks for a refill to keep your fake nails lovely and attractive. I had to come in a little over two weeks because my stubby nails grew faster than I had ever guessed. I finally got frustrated and pulled them off myself because I was too cheap to go and get them removed professionally. I know, it sounds crazy but wasn't really that painful. The biggest problem was getting my nailbeds back into shape again. Here I am again gazing down at my hands and longing for the days of beautiful hands with accentuated perfect nails at the tip of each finger. Must be winter madness. Must be cabin fever. Must be I am spending too much time indoors staring at my hands. Any how I think in the next little while I will sneak out in a moment of weakness and transform these hands once again into masterpieces. What do you think?
