saturday blues
Sometimes on Saturday I feel quite blue. It seems to be the most frantic day of the week. You look around and wonder how your house got so dirty in just a few days. The laundry is hanging out of the basket crying to be washed, your floors are grimy and gooey and the kids need new shoes or some other thing to buy today. It isn't fair. Saturday should be the day to sleep in, lazily read the newspaper and have that second or third cup of coffee. Dream on. Maybe in another life we will get our wish. Today is calling, the kids are calling and the phone is calling. Pour yourself another coffee and hit the pavement. Make Sunday your day of rest. After all, if the Lord needed to rest on the seventh day we should too. God is so wise and good. Put that book you want to read beside your bed and wait until tomorrow to curl up and enjoy the read and then have a refreshing nap! Love Sundays! Stop, relax and reflect on the goodness of life.

Welcome to my blog
welcome to an oasis in the busy journey of life
This is a tiny microscopic landing blog. You can come here and feel welcome, laid back and relaxed. No shoes, no hang-ups, no judgement. Come in and have an iced tea if your temper is hot, a hot chocolate if your are chilled out by someone or something , or even a nice glass of wine if you need to wind down and find peace and quiet. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply and be absolutely still. No need to talk, explain yourself, or ask questions. Just be you and I'll be me - together. All is well....welcome to my blog.
