being sick is the pits...

Still feeling weak and feverish today. Not much of a "vacation feeling" going on with me. Blessed to be able to sit down, nap if I need too, and have money for medication if needed. Sometimes God puts us on our back to get closer to Him. Perfect time to pray, reflect and be grateful (yes I said grateful} for His mercy and presence in my life. Being sick, being still, being alive is something to be thankful for. Being sick means my body can signal that something is wrong and I need to correct it, being still means I can focus on God (not my ailment) and hear His voice in me, and being alive means I still have a purpose and destiny...He is not done with me yet. Maybe being sick isn't the pits but a time to count my many blessings. Hope you are well today yourself.
