What a party we had....

We planned the best birthday party for my hubby ever. He is always saying how much he would like to get a tattoo but never has gone forward with his dream. Well we all helped him yesterday at this party by buying him stick-on tattoos. We plastered his arms and even his neck. We all sang happy birthday to him as we presented him with a gorgeous homemade ice cream cake and then punctuated the event with twinkling sparklers. Of course our one year old little grandson was mesmerized with all the frivolity and fun. Families are God's creation. I am so blessed to be part of one that is together and supportive. If there are rifts in your family perhaps today is the time to mend them. We have such a short time here on earth together. Sad to waste precious time quarreling and squabbling at each other. Go ahead, you be the one today to change your family's dynamics. Make the phone call, write that note, email a card to someone and make things right. Families are a gift and a treasure. Invest in that treasure for time now and eternity. Have a wonderful day!
