"Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book."
-author unknown
Isn't that the truth. Books can educate you, show you distant destinations that you could never travel to, exercise every emotion known to man and best of all be your friend. Books are the glue that connect generations and ooze onto your brain and into your soul. If you are not a reader go find a book that appeals to you and sit down daily and read it. Try one page, one chapter at a time until the whole book is complete. I pray that people will be enamored and addicted to good books. Make a point of turning off your technology in lieu of reading a good book. The bent of you reading too is that your kids see your nose buried in a book and want to copycat you. When they see you purposely choose to read guess what? they will do the same. Reading is important. Go ahead become like a cat....have nine lives to live and live them all through books. Read on.
Go ahead...take a break...take a breath...take some time for yourself....land here

Welcome to my blog
welcome to an oasis in the busy journey of life
This is a tiny microscopic landing blog. You can come here and feel welcome, laid back and relaxed. No shoes, no hang-ups, no judgement. Come in and have an iced tea if your temper is hot, a hot chocolate if your are chilled out by someone or something , or even a nice glass of wine if you need to wind down and find peace and quiet. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply and be absolutely still. No need to talk, explain yourself, or ask questions. Just be you and I'll be me - together. All is well....welcome to my blog.
