Going to clean up this house today

Ever just sit and look at the jobs around you and not have the energy or desire to carry through with last night's plans to get up, get organized, move this, clean that? That is how I am feeling today. Last night when I made my list for today it all looked fine and very doable....but today...not so much. What happens to our get up and go attitude in just a few short hours even though you have had a good night's sleep? I need to have another cup of coffee I guess. I need to sit and look at it some more. I need to will myself that I will feel so much better when all the jobs are nicely wrapped up and done. Where is that feeling inside of me? Where is that inner grit that I can pull out when I need a boost of energy. When you get older you don't even want to find that grit anymore.....the coffee pot looks so inviting....the chair so much softer with a voice coming out it that says,"Sit here awhile and organize your thoughts first and then your jobs will follow." I never heard my chair talk before but it is giving out very wise advice and I am going to h heed it. Jobs can wait. They will get done eventually and all will be well again. It is nice to be in control of myself and say....maybe later...or not. Feels real good to sit down and sip on a nice hot cup of coffee for now. Blessings to you. Have a great day and listen to yourself.
