Pets are the greatest

God made animals and I am so glad that he did. Our home is literally bursting with them and we all so engage in their care and love. All my kids have their own pets and hubby and I adore the feeding, nurturing and care that they take. We never balk at the expense of time we invest in tending to God's creatures. It is such a privilege to fill bowls of water, wash little muddy paws and comfort those frightened by a thunder storm. What do we get back from our pet investment? Well we get the love and loyalty that is unsurpassed in human terms. We get to cuddle and those spontaneous kisses that just come out of nowhere. It is documented that when you interact and pet animals your heart rate goes does and so does your blood pressure. I think God rewards you for taking care of his little creatures in ways we cannot fathom. It is a pure joy and honour to tend to our home zoo. I am blessed that this gift has been passed on to all my kids. They all have a tender heart towards all things living in this world. If you do not have a pet think about it. Don't worry about the cost, or vacuuming up the pet hair or feathers or bird seed. Make it fun and God will reward your family too. Just saying.....happy weekend everyone!
