I think I've overdone it....
I have to confess. I went a little crazy with my garden this year. Between my husband, oldest daughter, and myself (we are all plant nuts) we have created quite a green haven. We have tried to buy curious, different types of plants to enjoy. My husband picked up a chanille plant. It looks like it has red dreads hanging all over it and it is spectacular. My daughter created a rock garden and is lovingly tending to it daily. She did all her research and thoughtfully bought each plant to place in it. Our back deck has the flavour of an outdoor patio with rose bushes and for Father's Day I bought my husband some very unusual and magnificent cacti to place out there. Where we will put all this gorgeous foliage come fall, who knows, but we will enjoy our greenery right up until we have to pull them indoors. If you are able bring the parks/lawns/public gardens into your own private space. It has been a wonderful learning curve to plan, plant and nurture these wonders of nature. Green is very relaxing, live-giving and peaceful. Let's always preserve our green, together we can do it!
