count down to Christmas

finding stocking stuffers this morning....whew! The price for little things can sure add up. So many people with carts stacked high. Sometimes make me sad to see so much " stuff". Maybe getting old but I think of the people on need, the kids going without and the landfill that is needed to house our " stuff". The best gifts we gave were to Salvation Army, World Vision and Young Street Mission and of course we adopted a family - mom and her two kids to bless. I am grateful to God that He blessed us so in turn we could be a blessing to others. I know what it is like to have nothing for Christmas so it is a true honour to come along side of hurting people and be the helping hands of Jesus. Think about it for your own life.

Welcome to my blog

welcome to an oasis in the busy journey of life

This is a tiny microscopic landing blog. You can come here and feel welcome, laid back and relaxed. No shoes, no hang-ups, no judgement. Come in and have an iced tea if your temper is hot, a hot chocolate if your are chilled out by someone or something , or even a nice glass of wine if you need to wind down and find peace and quiet. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply and be absolutely still. No need to talk, explain yourself, or ask questions. Just be you and I'll be me - together. All is well....welcome to my blog.
