Free is best
We always think that we need to buy, wrap and present expensive and thoughtful gifts to one another at this time of year. Well let me tell you that a simple smile, timely word, a hug or even a wink can be a beautiful gift that you can give unconditionally. Ever notice the grumpy faces out there shopping for the "happiest" time of the year. People are poor, stressed, angry, agitated...you name it...you'll bump into one. You can be the light, the buffer, the spark that changes all that negative energy around people. SMILE.....hum a tune....put a skip in your step...say excuse me...thank you...you're doing a great job...yes I can wait for a minute. Sometimes these are foreign words and they should NOT be! Take your manners with you when you go out. Make someone's day. Brighten up someones life. You can make a difference and it won't cost you a penny. They say you reap what you sew....so maybe....just maybe...you will get that kindness returned to you by some other gracious person out there just doing their shopping today. Be blessed.

Welcome to my blog
welcome to an oasis in the busy journey of life
This is a tiny microscopic landing blog. You can come here and feel welcome, laid back and relaxed. No shoes, no hang-ups, no judgement. Come in and have an iced tea if your temper is hot, a hot chocolate if your are chilled out by someone or something , or even a nice glass of wine if you need to wind down and find peace and quiet. Close your eyes, breathe in deeply and be absolutely still. No need to talk, explain yourself, or ask questions. Just be you and I'll be me - together. All is well....welcome to my blog.
